How to STOP Craving Sugar

Confession: I was a sugar addict. I poured tablespoons of the stuff in my coffee, drank a ton of orange juice, and every night I turned into the cookie monster. It wasn't until I watched the documentary, That Sugar Film, that I started looking into my sugar consumption.

I was practically drowning myself in sugar! Ahhh!! 😫

Okay, maybe not drowning, but I did find myself in a huge statistic:

75% of Americans consume more sugar than recommended.

That's insane! However, it makes sense when you realize that added sugar is in practically everything – bread, pasta, crackers, sauces, juices, coffee, and more. Even seemingly "healthy" options, like Naked's Green Machine, have a whopping 35 grams of sugar! For comparison, our greens drink has zero sugar. *humble brag*

The American Heart Association recommends just 25 grams for women and 38 grams for men of added sugar a day maximum. So when you get a Naked smoothie, you may as well treat yourself to a Snickers bar instead. Actually get the Snickers bar! It has less sugar and won't lie to you.

Everybody's journey is different, but the way that I stopped craving sugar is by slowly cutting it out. I started small by consuming less fruit juices and sweets, and once I was ready, I replaced my morning coffee sugar with stevia. It wasn't easy at first, but I stuck with it and after a month my tongue adjusted completely to the taste difference! Best of all, I feel healthier and rarely crave sweets.

Sugar can be hard to track, but it's important that you do.

Let's face it. Sugar is basically poison. It has zero nutritional value. It's addictive the same way cocaine is, by flooding our reward center with "feel good" dopamine. Worst of all, it increases our risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancer, and more. It might be hard avoiding sugar in your protein bar or smoothie, but it doesn't have to be in your water.

That's why we made OptiMind® Water Boosters Sugar-Free. Instead of sugar, we use stevia to give our drinks the sweet flavor without the added calories or adverse health consequences.

We also use all natural flavors and have healthy ingredients like probiotics, superfoods, and nootropics for focus and energy. Each serving has 0 sugar, less than 16 calories, and 5 electrolytes for enhanced hydration.

So stop drinking sugar water! You'll love drinking our mouth-watering lemonade, mixed berry, raspberry lemonade, and green apple electrolyte water boosters! For a limited time, try all 4 flavors FREE.
